See what current and former patients have to say about their experience.
I have been a patient of Dr Bibeault’s for approximately 6 years. I would consider Dr. Bibeault to be an outstanding psychiatrist. She has always treated me with the utmost respect and compassion. Her knowledge and expertise regarding med management has been exemplary.

Wonderful psychiatrist, highly recommended. I went to see Renee for help with a sleep related disorder. Believe me, finding a psychiatrist who also does talk therapy is incredibly rare these days. I work with many therapists she is a gem. She spent the time with me to learn about what was going on in my life, and my own thoughts about what was driving my sleep issues. And the prescription I got was absolutely perfect for my situation. I was also able to make good use of her email consultation services – when I had questions about side effects or dosage changes. All in all I would highly recommend her to any women who need to see a psychiatrist either for medication, therapy, or both. I have recommended her to friends who are also extremely pleased.

Invaluable caregiver! I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Bibeault. She was my first experience for both psychiatry and therapy, and I feel extremely lucky to have found her. She is smart, yet easy to talk to and down to earth. She is caring and understanding but also objective. She has helped me so much in the past few years and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her!

I've been a patient of Dr Bibeault's for over 4 years now, 2.5 of which involved regular visits and the remainder has been periodic check-ins. She helped me address many issues over this time, most importantly helping me to rebuild myself to my former strength that somehow I had let slip away. She helped me from a personal and professional perspective. She gave me insight to see things in a new light. I am stronger than ever thanks to her.

Great doctor for postpartum depression. Dr. Bibeault literally saved my life when I suffered from post-partum depression after my first child. I have continued seeing her through the birth of my second child. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Bibeault is a wonderful and caring doctor. She is helping me navigate a very difficult time in my life with compassion and grace. I would (and have) recommend her to many and any of my friends.

I have made progress with depression and anxiety since visiting Dr. B. She is available as needed both for standard and urgent needs. I find her warm and caring. I have followed up on her recommendations and it has been fruitful (e.g., read certain books, try things a different way.)

Dr. B is my third or fourth psychiatrist. No one could figure out what was going on with me, but she did after just two appointments. She is a great listener, very smart, kind and warm. She is very reachable and replies to my emails within hours. I totally trust her.

Thank goodness I found this doctor. Dr. Bibeault is incredibly insightful, understanding, empowering, and reassuring. I truly feel lucky to have found her because her knowledge on emotional and mental health is superb. She helped me out of a very dark and hopeless place so that I could be a good mother to my children, a better wife to my husband, and feel better about myself overall. Therapy is a beautiful thing, and Dr. Bibeault is the best.

I have been seeing Dr. B. for years and am convinced she saved my life. She has been able to help me with issues that several previous therapists could not. I appreciate the balance of medication and therapy. I appreciate her experience and expertise in both dynamic therapy and psychopharmacology. She is extremely compassionate and caring. I recommend her without reservation and very highly to anyone who needs a great psychiatrist.

Caring, sharp, current and responsive. I’ve seen Dr. Bibeault for over 5 years and have consistently had a great experience with her, including through a pregnancy. She’s to the point, stays current on the latest research and is available through email, which I really appreciate. I’ve recommended her to many friends and family.

Excellent clinician. I have been seeing Dr Bibeault for over 6 years, mostly on an intermittent basis and every experience has been positive. During some more intense periods of anxiety and depresson she has always been genuinely caring, warm and helpful. She is extremely bright and has provided me with insights that I would not have been able to gain on my own. I highly recommend her.

I came to this psychiatrist after being shunted about with psychiatrists who were only interested in prescribing medication and nothing else. Dr. Bibeault is an increasing rarity in so far as she combines a balanced and judicious use of medication (when needed) with an engaging and probing style of therapy that prompts much introspection and increased self-awareness. I have found her to be accessible, pleasant, with a good sense of humour, a realistic take on situations and a keen understanding of the science behind it all. There is never a problem booking an appointment with her and I always leave her office feeling like I have been listened to, understood and valued

Dr. Bibeault has been amazing in helping me with my depression pre and post pregnancy. She is a consummate professional! I highly recommend her.

I really like her. Granted it’s my first experience with a psychiatrist, but she asked questions and listened intently through my crying. I appreciate her opinion and she has opened my eye to things that make me feel a lot better about what I have been through and what I am dealing with at the moment. I never feel rushed or judged.

Great doctor. This doctor really helped me when I needed it. She spent a lot of time figuring out some complicated things that were happening to me. I thought her bedside manner was really kind and patient. I ended up having to switch to someone else because of insurance but would have preferred to stay with her.

I have had several episodes of depression treated by a few different doctors in the area. Generally, my experience with psychiatrists is that they want to prescribe meds and get you out the door. Dr. Bibeault was kind and respectful and a fabulous listener. She spent a lot of time talking about options and non-medical ways to get relief. I left feeling understood and like I had an expert partner to work with. I know that getting appointments can be frustrating because her practice is usually full, but in all other ways I thought she was exceptional.

I’m a healthcare executive who spends most of her days reviewing complaints against doctors in my org so I’m pretty selective about my own healthcare. Dr. Bibeault came highly recommended by colleagues and by my personal physician. I was in treatment with her for about three years and had an excellent experience. She is a warm, caring person and knowledgeable, conscientious provider. She treated me like a partner and respected my input in my care. I can’t say enough good things about her.

I chose Dr. B after my meeting with a few different psychiatrists after my GP had misdiagnosed and over-medicated me. She was recommended by two friends who have seen her for years and also my OB. She is a great listener and asks smart questions and totally gets a woman’s perspective. Super kind and compassionate and also has a sense of humor. Thanks to her I can function and enjoy myself and my family. Highly recommend; you won’t find better care than this.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Bibeault. Her knowledge base is outstanding. She has an excellent demeanor. I found her to be very kind and compassionate. I plan to refer others to her as well. I highly recommend her.

Excellent doctor. Def recommend. Nice demeanor, really knows her stuff and can explain it at my level, always sought my input on the plan. OB referred me, she’d sent many patients to her based on great feedback. Really lucky to have found her because not a lot of professionals understand meds in pregnancy and nursing. Have recommended her to everyone in my Peps and snugglers groups.

Dear Dr. B, I know it’s been a few months, but I finally found time to get this note to to you. I want to say how grateful I am for your care during my depression. You gave me hope and light when I felt nothing but darkness. I think I still owe you a box or five of tissues. 😉 I think what meant the most to me was that you were steadfast, gentle and kind even when in my hopelessness I tried to make you dislike me. Thank you for sticking with me. J. has been stationed near DC so I won’t be back to the PNW for a while, but can I check back in when I’m in town? Thanks again for your wonderful care.

Dr. B, I can’t thank you enough for the help you’ve given me over the years. When I first came to see you, I was at the end of my rope. You were the first doctor to really listen and take the time to know *ME*. I am in such a better place mentally and physically thanks to you. I will not forget you!

Thanks for your quick response and helping some of my clients. You get great reviews…I would never have become a therapist without your support and encouragement. I’m still grateful and like to share my updates.

Thank you for everything. Most of all, thank you for teaching me to be compassionate and gentle with myself. I know you will help many more women like me.

I’m a happier mom and better person. I have been seeing Dr. Renee Bibeault for therapy for 4 1/2 years. She has helped me with postpartum depression, dysfunctional family issues, and personal growth. This is my first counseling experience – I interviewed a few physicians before finding the right fit – and I would highly recommend her! She is knowledgeable about medications, straightforward in her approach, keen in her ability to ask key questions, and comfortable to talk with in an easy back-and-forth conversation. I am grateful. Her professionalism and expertise have been a gift to me.

Dear Dr. B., How to begin? You’ve played such an important part of my healing these last nine years. I thank God (and MB!) every day for helping me find you. I wish I’d met you years ago. I know I wasn’t the easiest person to take care of, but you never gave up on me and never judged. You always let me feel respected and cared for. Like I mattered – a new idea for me. I’m so grateful.

Just a little something to express my appreciation for all you’ve done for me. You were exactly what I needed at a really scary and painful time in my life. Thank you for your expertise, kindness and grace. My husband asked me to pass along his thanks, too. He likes having his wife back.

Hi Dr. B! I thought you might like this update, along with photos of H., our third baby born a few months ago. No postpartum depression this time many thanks to you, and we’re all doing great. It reminded me how lucky I I was to find a doctor so completely in tune with women’s issues and struggles. I hope you and your family are doing great. (my sister says she loves you btw.)

Dear Dr Bibeault, thank you for consulting with me and my husband last month. You’ve given us an incredible gift after years of believing we could never start a family. Thank you for sharing your expertise in such a patient and kind way. J — especially appreciated and was reassured by your deep understanding of the research. We have decided to make the changes you recommended and then start trying. I’ll be in touch to follow up once we conceive. Thank you so much.

Dr. Bibeault helped me when my hormones were fluctuating during perimenopause. She helped me with medication and listening. I recommend her to all my peri menopause friends and I mentioned her to my primary physician. I wish she could have been my therapist and psychiatrist, but our schedules did not fit for therapy.
